AIR - Arts in Reach

Arts In Reach offers girls and gender expansive youth ages 11-22 arts programs after school and during school vacations in February, April, and summer free of charge. AIR also has free transportation assistance for participants.

AIR programs integrate visual, performing, and literary arts with cultural field trips, group mentoring by professional artists, and opportunities to do community service. AIR programs balance high-quality arts instruction with creative self-expression and community-building. All skill and experience levels are welcome. AIR offers three program levels.

ArtVentures is for middle schoolers ages 11-13 to explore creativity and try new types of art with a nonjudgmental and supportive group

AIR Artists is for teens ages 13-18 to develop unique voices and express authentic selves through visual, performing, and literary arts in a safe, nonjudgmental space

Advance On AIR is for young people ages 16-22 with previous AIR experience to refine art skills in specialty workshops and field trips and to mentor younger teens as apprentices in other AIR programs.
